I've had this blog challenge on my list of things to do since well before Christmas but here at last is my first one.
I was lured by this fabulous canvas background offered as a starting point on Art Creations Friday this week and here is my take on it. I really love this John William Waterhouse painting so was pleased to find it worked for this piece.

You asked about my background. Yes, I did the whole thing digitally. First the given background, then a Dover image that had a house and some trees on it, then finally the Dover image of the girl picking oranges. And a little diddling around to fill in some spaces.
